Job summary

LSB Chemical L.L.C. seeks a senior Process Engineer to lead nitrogen manufacturing process engineering, focusing on ammonia production and related nitrogen processes.

You will mentor engineers, drive process safety, and advance plant performance and reliability across sites in the Oklahoma City area. The role requires collaboration across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering, with responsibility for major turnarounds, capital projects and risk management.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering with 8+ years in continuous-processing manufacturing.
• Significant experience in nitrogen facilities; ammonia plant experience preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in process engineering, plant performance, and automation.
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PHA/LOPA/MOC/PSSR).
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to process engineering and improve capability and standards.
• Lead plant performance, data analysis, modeling, and reliability initiatives.
• Guide troubleshooting for major events and ensure learnings are implemented.
• Support capital projects, turnarounds, commissioning, and startups.
