Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking engineers for the Nitro High Memory and HPC platforms in Santa Clara. You will contribute to compute infrastructure, memory-heavy workloads and database workloads with tens of terabytes of memory.

Role involves systems programming in C/C++ or Rust, plus Python/Lua scripting. You’ll work across domain teams, deliver new instance types, and own features from design through deployment in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new/existing systems.
• Experience programming in at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver features for Nitro High Memory and HPC platforms.
• Collaborate across domains (Linux kernel, firmware, hypervisor) to support new instance types.
• Coordinate with BIOS, EC2 control-plane teams and software engineers to improve compute infrastructure.
