Job summary

Axle, a bioscience and information technology company, seeks a seasoned NIH grants management professional to support the NHLBI Office of Grants Management. You will triage competing applications, review budgets, and ensure policy-compliant award processing in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree and at least 12 years of NIH grants experience, with proficiency in eRA IMPAC II and strong communication with grantees and Federal staff.

Qualifications

Master’s degree is required.
Minimum twelve (12) years of NIH grants management experience.
Experience using eRA IMPAC II to process competing grant applications and issue award packages is required.
Experience reviewing applications for budget, compliance, and award readiness concerns.

Responsibilities

Triage competing grant applications and manage deadlines and documentation.
Facilitate communications with grantees and Federal staff on policy and procedures.
Assist in portfolio analysis and workload management for pending awards.
