Job summary

McKesson is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead large-scale distribution center operations during evening and overnight shifts. You will drive outbound performance, service excellence, cost efficiency, and team engagement in a 24/7, automated environment.

You will lead managers and frontline supervisors to ensure safe, accurate, on-time order fulfillment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 9+ years in professional experience including supervisory/managerial roles.
• Experience leading outbound or warehouse operations in a high-volume distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Lead outbound operations across multiple shifts in a high-volume DC.
• Coach and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline teams.
• Drive performance against KPIs: throughput, labor, cost, and service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization.
• Monitor data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Foster a safety-first, inclusive, and accountable culture.
• Support workforce planning and succession development.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a 24/7 environment.
