Job summary

McKesson, a Fortune 10 company, seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead multiple teams in our Columbus, OH distribution center. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives while building a high‑performing workforce.

This role partners with site leadership to develop operational strategies, manage budgets, and oversee continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean/Six Sigma, to deliver exceptional service and compliant, cost‑effective operations.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience; typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
Experience leading operations within distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or production environment.
Experience leading multiple teams through supervisors and/or managers.
Experience managing KPIs, budgets, labor planning, and operating expenses.
Demonstrated experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead distribution center operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, service, and cost objectives.
Develop and communicate priorities; set performance expectations aligned to business goals.
Drive KPI performance including service levels, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics.
Lead and develop supervisors, managers, and frontline leadership teams.
