Giant Eagle, Inc. in Cranberry Township is seeking a Senior Night Crew Team Leader to guide overnight operations, lead a diverse team, and uphold our store standards.

You will coach team members, maintain departmental records, and ensure professional representation of the organization to guests. Experience required is 3 to 5 years in management within grocery/retail or related fields; reading Profit and Loss statements is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience Desired: Prior management experience in grocery operations/retail or related field; Customer Service Experience; Knowledge of Market District operational procedures; Ability to read and interpret Profit and Loss statement

Responsibilities

• Interview, select and train Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members.
• Appraise Team Members’ productivity and efficiency for promotions or changes in status.
• Handle Team Member issues including complaints.
• Discipline Team Members.
• Plan the work.
• Distribute or assign the work among Team Members.
• Provide for safety and security of Team Members or the store.
• Manage the budget for your department or location.
• Manage inventory for your department or location.
• Monitor or implement compliance measures.
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training provided to department Team Members to reduce turnover, promote efficiency and control labor costs.
• Provide motivational leadership to an amazing team by focusing on respect and setting an exemplary example.
• Identify strengths and opportunities of the team and think strategically when scheduling.
• Develop future leaders and nurture inclusion and diversity.

Job Description

• Establish an ongoing communication plan with the team, ensuring that all Team Members are informed and prepared to put their best food forward!
• Communicate with the merchandising team to ensure that promotions are properly communicated to Team Members and guests.
• Make innovative plans and suggestions to improve our business.

The hiring range for this position is $20.25– $27.00 per hour/year. This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. Eligible employees may be offered health, vision, and dental insurance, personal/sick paid time, 401(k) retirement savings plan, bonus potential, paid bereavement, vacation and paid holidays.
