Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Completion of a Physician Assistant program.
• Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant within 3 months of membership.
• PA certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad spectrum of patients with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assess health status with histories and examinations and coordinate care with the team.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Consult with physicians and participate in rounds and patient disposition.
• Order labs and imaging as appropriate and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients and families and promote preventive care.
• Assist with supervision of staff and trainee协调 activities.
• Triage and refer patients as needed; participate in cost-effective care.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with hospital standards.
• Serve as a liaison among departments to optimize patient care.
• Participate in performance evaluations and staff training.
