Job summary

Civil Design Consultants, Inc. is seeking a New Hampshire Registered/Licensed Land Surveyor (RLS/LLS) – Project Manager to lead our Survey Department. This senior role involves managing projects from client contact and research through field operations, CAD production, QA/QC, and final deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have NH licensure, strong boundary surveying expertise, and excellent organizational and communication skills to oversee multiple projects and field crews across the region.

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire Land Surveyor license (LLS/RLS) in good standing.
• Strong experience with boundary surveying and land records research.
• Experience managing survey projects from initial research through final plan preparation.
• Thorough understanding of survey calculations, boundary resolution, legal descriptions, easements, rights-of-way, and survey control.
• Ability to review and direct both field and office survey operations.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, contractors, engineers, attorneys, municipal officials, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of land surveying projects in NH and surrounding region.
• Oversee field crews and coordinate survey research, planning, and deliverables.
• Review deeds, plans, and research; prepare field packages.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and officials.
• Review plans in Civil 3D and Carlson Survey; ensure QA/QC of deliverables.
• Establish survey control and construction layout procedures.
• Provide direction to crew chiefs and survey technicians.
