Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Senior NGL Scheduler in Houston, TX. The role focuses on scheduling NGL movements (pipeline, rail, truck, waterborne) to balance inventories with commercial commitments, coordinating with traders, customers and terminals.

The candidate should bring 4+ years of industry experience, including NGL exposure, and a collaborative mindset. The position offers a competitive compensation package, a discretionary annual bonus, and the company’s Total Rewards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or five years of related experience in lieu.
• Four or more years of industry-related experience required.
• Two or more years of NGLs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Nominates and schedules pipeline, waterborne, truck, rail and/or delivery movements using scheduling systems.
• Monitors inventories and shipping schedules daily to ensure supply meets demand.
• Communicates planned movements with traders, optimizers, customers, suppliers and pipelines.
• Provides forward-looking inventory position information to Trading, Pricing and Marketing.
• Responds to unexpected events with contingency plans to minimize disruption.
• Trains and mentors less experienced schedulers; collaborates cross-functionally to optimize plans.
• Coordinates with refinery/ frac operations to align plans with obligations.
