Job summary

Jobtailor is recruiting a senior technical leader to oversee NG-911 engineering, PSAP modernization, and system interoperability for Army and DoD environments. The role emphasizes enterprise architecture, GIS/LIS data integration, and cybersecurity compliance.

The position requires a SECRET clearance, a technical bachelor’s degree, and 12+ years in NG-911 or public safety communications, with preference for DoD experience and CAD/interoperability expertise.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• Twelve (12) years supporting NG-911 engineering, enterprise architecture, or public safety communications
• National Emergency Number Association (NENA) certifications
• Association of Public-Safety Communications (APCO) certifications
• Systems engineering experience
• NG-911 experience
• Preferred: DoD or large government installation experience
• Preferred: Experience with computer aided dispatch
• Preferred: Interoperability testing and system integration experience

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level subject matter expertise and technical leadership for complex engineering, integration, and interoperability efforts supporting Army NG-911 and PSAP modernization
• Provide technical design, installation oversight, testing, and cutover planning for modernized PSAP systems
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to the Government on PSAP modernization strategy and interoperability decisions
• Support strategic planning, technical roadmaps, and enterprise engineering decisions for NG-911 modernization
• Support programmatic and engineering activities for NG-911 infrastructure planning and integration, including GIS/LIS data integration for 911 call routing
• Ensure PSAP systems interoperate with the PSC ecosystem and comply with Army operational and cybersecurity standards
