KVOA-TV in Tucson is seeking a Senior News Producer to lead the editorial direction and execution of our evening newscasts. The ideal candidate is an experienced journalist who can identify the day’s most important stories, make sound decisions under pressure, and deliver coverage that connects with Southern Arizona viewers.

You’ll line produce and be involved in all aspects of writing and publishing stories for our platforms.

Formación

• Two years of line producing experience at a commercial television station is recommended.
• ENPS knowledge is a plus.
• Strong writing skills are critical.
• Clear understanding of best practices for digital-based news writing and distribution.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to breaking news events.
• Must have the ability to make quick decisions.
