Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist in the Psychiatry portfolio, covering Tempe and surrounding AZ locations. The role focuses on driving demand for medicines, delivering scientific dialogue with high credibility to health care providers, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of indications and data.

This field-based position emphasizes compliant, patient-centric engagement. Ideal candidates have advanced scientific training and 5+ years in pharma or biotech sales/MSL

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
• Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to help physicians best serve their patients.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers, office staff, and others through a customer-centric mindset.
• Experience in Neurology preferred.
• Demonstrated strong account management skills and track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed targets.
• Engages HCPs with a balanced clinical and scientific rationale for product use.
• Maintains deep scientific expertise across all products and therapeutic areas.
• Prepares and implements territory and account plans.
• Uses CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans.
