Job summary

University of Virginia's Center for Neuromodulation Research in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to lead day-to-day operations across trials on non-invasive neuromodulation, including focused ultrasound and VNS, for substance use disorders and behavioral addictions.

You will recruit, screen, enroll, and retain participants; ensure protocol fidelity and regulatory compliance; manage data across REDCap; supervise junior staff; and conduct off-site visits at treatment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years clinical research experience; Master’s may substitute.
• CCRC/CCRP preferred; certification within one year.
• Experience with substance use / psychiatric populations is advantageous.
• Familiar with GCP, HIPAA, IRB processes.

Responsibilities

• Screen and identify eligible participants and maintain enrollment logs.
• Obtain informed consent per IRB procedures and explain risks.
• Coordinate off-site recruitment and study visits at treatment centers.
• Manage data entry and REDCap databases; ensure data quality.
• Support regulatory submissions, monitoring visits, and audits.
• Train staff and contribute to SOPs and manuscripts.
