Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II to perform routine and complex EEGs independently under leadership. You will provide findings, ensure patient safety, and contribute to team-based care in a pediatric setting.

The role requires ABRET credentials, BLS certification, and multiple EEG-related competencies, with pediatric experience preferred. You will mentor junior staff and support department leadership in clinical duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABRET END program or an associate degree in healthcare/science or EEG training required/acceptable.
• Three years EEG experience in a patient care environment required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Credentials in EEG, R.EEG T. from ABRET required.
• Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Additional credentials (Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conduction, Intraoperative Monitoring, Long-Term Monitoring) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs EEG procedures appropriate to competence and credentials, including advanced procedures.
• Maintains continuing education and competencies in EEG and related modalities.
• Participates in education and orientation of junior technologists and EEG students.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
