Job summary

Beyond SOF in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Network Architect to design and implement enterprise-wide network solutions for a large federal agency's complex environment. The role involves translating objectives into actionable IT strategies and leading architecture efforts.

You will oversee routing, switching, security, and WAN/LAN integration, work with stakeholders, and guide project scope, plans, and timelines in a fully onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• 10+ years of Cisco experience.
• Extensive experience with Cisco routing platforms (ASRs/ISRs).
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GRE.
• Deep knowledge of Layer 2: STP, MST, VLANs.
• Experience troubleshooting large enterprise LAN/WAN networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering development, integration and field analysis of customer networks.
• Support local, regional, and WAN networks for voice, video, data, and imagery.
• Review existing network architecture; propose SDN, intent-based networking, and segmentation.
• Design telecom circuit specs; specify routers/switches/encryption devices; deliver service catalogs.
• Develop and maintain network architecture specs and artifacts.
