Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Principle Engineer / Networking System Architect to define architecture for network products and lead Celestica's design team in networking space. You will interface with software/firmware, mechanical, thermal, layout, SI, and test teams as part of system architecture for data center, enterprise, and Telco markets.

The role requires 15+ years in network hardware design and 10+ years at system level, with BS in Electrical Engineering (MSEE preferred).

Qualifications

• This role requires deep knowledge of network hardware design and system architecture for high-performance platforms.
• Experience delivering network products to market with strong customer interface skills.
• Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams and engagement with suppliers/partners on roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define complex networking platform solutions and lead a multi-disciplined team to implementation.
• Lead design quality through EVT and process improvements across teams.
• Manage a small supporting team and coordinate with Technology, Development, and Customer teams.
• Develop relationships with suppliers on roadmaps and technologies; lead RFQ responses.
• Deliver SRD, requirement compliance, and technical proposals; present to customers and groups.
• Interface with Celestica customers on technical escalation and support business development.
