Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Architect for Networking Platforms to provide senior technical leadership for architecture and development of AI, cloud, and high-performance data center networking platforms.

Role spans Ethernet/InfiniBand, NIC/DPU, switching, high-speed interconnects, and scale-out fabrics, requiring synthesis of compute, power, thermal, and system-management considerations into cohesive rack-level solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Typically 12+ years hardware development with focus on networking, AI, or cloud platforms.
• Proven experience defining system architecture for complex networking platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Ethernet/InfiniBand, switch architectures, NICs/DPUs, PCIe, SerDes.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for next-generation AI, cloud, hyperscale, data-center networking platforms.
• Lead early architecture studies, feasibility assessments, proof-of-concept development and platform definition.
• Collaborate with Compute Architect and domain experts to optimize complete AI systems.
