Job summary

AnaVation seeks a Tier 3 Network Engineer to provide high-level network engineering and operations support across enterprise sites. The role emphasizes design, deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization while collaborating with cross-site teams.

The candidate must hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, IAT II certification, and CCNA, with relevant education and experience commuter to complex DoD-like networks. Travel up to 25% CONUS is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required before starting.
• IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+ required.
• CCNA certification required.
• Education and experience correspond to listed combinations (GED 9y, Assoc 7y, Bach 5y, Master 3y).
• Experience in network engineering, design, implementation, troubleshooting and operations.
• Ability to travel up to 25% CONUS and work at multiple sites.

Description of Task to be Performed:

Provide Tier 3 network engineering and operations support, including network design, implementation, installation,troubleshooting, and optimization across enterprise locations. Develop network solutions and deploymentdocumentation, facilitate engineering design activities, and research and test new technologies for performance andinteroperability. Resolve complex network issues independently and collaboratively while supporting network operationsand administration activities across multiple sites.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, or TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph prior to starting.
• IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+.
• CCNA certification.
• Relevant education and experience:
• GED + 9 years
• Associate's + 7 years
• Bachelor's + 5 years
• Master's + 3 years
• Experience with network engineering, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and operations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex technical problems.
• Ability to travel to other sites for network operations and administration activities.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with network installations, including unpacking and moving network equipment.
• Ability to support up to 25% CONUS travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale network operations across multiple geographically dispersed or remote locations.
• Demonstrated experience independently performing network engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, and problemresolution in remote locations with minimal or intermittent support from other tiers or locations.
• Experience supporting network technology upgrades, installations, technical refresh projects, and new/enhanced networkimplementations.
• Experience conducting site surveys and engineering design data calls.
• Experience developing Network Operations SOPs and technical resolution reports for critical network outages.
• Experience performing detailed incident analysis, root cause analysis, and problem resolution across enterprise networkenvironments.
• Experience provisioning and troubleshooting network routers, switches, and cryptographic devices using administrativeaccess.
• Experience reviewing and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
