Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a senior network operations professional to deliver Tier 2 support across enterprise sites, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and RCA for routers, switches, and cryptographic devices. You will drive network upgrades, site surveys, and new implementations while producing SOPs and STIG compliance.

Ideal candidates hold TS/SCI with polygraph, CCNA, and IAT Level II, with 10+ years of experience and Cisco/Juniper proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or ability to obtain before start.
• 10+ years of network operations/administration experience; degree may substitute for 5 years.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices; strong routing protocols.
• Experience with TACLANE, ISE, and DoD STIG guidance.

Description of Task to be Performed:

Provide Tier 2 network operations support across enterprise locations, including network configuration, troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and root cause analysis for routers, switches, and cryptographic devices. Support network upgrades, installations, technical refreshes, site surveys, and new/enhanced network implementations. Develop network SOPs, implement STIG requirements, and provide technical resolution support for critical network outages. Work independently to resolve complex network problems with limited supervision, including at remote locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, or TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph prior to starting.
• IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+.
• CCNA certification.
• 10+ years of relevant network operations/administration experience; a Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field may substitute for 5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper network devices.
• Strong working knowledge of routing and networking protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, and 802.1x.
• In-depth knowledge of KG-175 Series TACLANE configuration, fault isolation, and firmware upgrade procedures.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE.
• Ability to perform network troubleshooting, incident analysis, root cause analysis, ticket resolution, network configuration, and approved network changes with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale network operations across multiple geographically dispersed or remote locations.
• Demonstrated experience independently performing network engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution in remote locations with minimal or intermittent support from other tiers or locations.
• Experience supporting network technology upgrades, installations, technical refresh projects, and new/enhanced network implementations.
• Experience conducting site surveys and engineering design data calls.
• Experience developing Network Operations SOPs and technical resolution reports for critical network outages.
• Experience performing detailed incident analysis, root cause analysis, and problem resolution across enterprise network environments.
• Experience provisioning and troubleshooting network routers, switches, and cryptographic devices using administrative access.
• Experience reviewing and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
