Job summary

WGS Systems, LLC in Frederick, Maryland seeks Engineering Technicians with aerospace and defense electronic system design and fabrication experience. You will join a team focused on airborne platform integration, troubleshooting, and testing.

Successful candidates will read assembly drawings and wiring diagrams, have strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills, and be prepared for field and lab testing with potential travel.

Qualifications

• AA technical degree or equivalent military/technical training with 4+ years of experience.
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with airborne platform integration and testing.
• Proficient with MS Office and Windows; Linux is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government clearance; international travel.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test airborne platform and ground-based systems.
• Assemble and test complex electronics—electrical and mechanical.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Provide system integration support to primes and subs.
• Conduct lab and field testing; collect data and write reports.
• Maintain AS9100D processes.
