Job summary

Qualifications

BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent degree.
5-8+ years of related work experience.
United States citizenship.
Ability to acquire a DoD security clearance.
Demonstrable written and verbal communications skills.
Use of CAD and FEA software tools.
Ability to travel to remote locations, including austere environments.

Responsibilities

Support mechanical and related designs for product development.
Support system design and integration into airborne, ground, mobile and fixed-site applications.
Conduct and/or review analyses of thermal, shock, vibration and related disciplines.
Support system integration and test activities, including qualification test planning and execution.
Design hardware and generate parts drawings, assembly drawings and BOMs.
Support field testing and field engineering including potential foreign travel.
Other technical duties beyond ME, including systems/software engineering.
Weight and balance and similar studies.
