Job summary

NGEN Radio seeks a Senior Engineer to manage and secure its core infrastructure in Dallas/Data Center environments. The role emphasizes Linux server administration, VMware virtualization, storage management, and perimeter security.

You will own the data center and corporate LAN/WAN, work with VPNs, route/firewall configurations, and contribute to security and compliance across systems. A strong background in enterprise networks is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or CS or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in systems and network administration.
• Expert in Enterprise Linux and VMware virtualization.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, LDAP, RADIUS, PKI, and security.
• Experience with automation (Bash, Python) and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain and support core IT infrastructure including Linux servers and VMware vSphere.
• Administer NetApp storage and storage protocols, provisioning and capacity planning.
• Manage server hardware via iDRAC/ILO with firmware lifecycle management.
• Perform data center work in Dallas as needed for installations and projects.
• Maintain, patch and upgrade server and network operating systems and apps.
