Job summary

EndLine Systems is seeking a proactive Network Engineer to configure, secure, and maintain our core enterprise networking infrastructure, virtual environments, and Linux systems. You’ll design VPNs, enforce firewall policies, and automate routine tasks with Python/Bash while ensuring high availability and secure remote access.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on experience in network administration or network engineering.
• Experience with Linux Systems Administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, or Rocky Linux) and command-line management.
• Solid experience configuring Linux Firewalls (iptables, nftables, ufw) and system security controls.
• Practical experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN technologies (IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard).
• Proficiency in basic programming/scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages for task automation.
• Practical experience managing networking within Virtual Machine environments (vSwitches, virtual bridges, hypervisors).
• Core networking protocol expertise: TCP/IP, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and HTTP/S.

Responsibilities

• Core Network Operations: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network hardware, including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• VPN & Secure Connectivity: Design, deploy, and support site-to-site and remote-access VPNs to ensure encrypted communications.
• Linux Security & Administration: Configure and manage Linux firewalls and Linux server administration.
• Network Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain programs/scripts to automate backups, log parsing, and monitoring tasks.
• Virtualization Support: Support network configurations and virtual bridging across VMs and hypervisors.
• Troubleshooting & Remediation: Diagnose and resolve network incidents, latency, and routing issues using analysis tools.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain topology diagrams, IPAM, and runbooks.
