Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer III (Network) to design, deploy, test, certify, patch, and resolve interoperability issues for all data-center networking features and dependencies in their Idaho client environment.

The role involves hands-on design and implementation of data center networking, SDN, and security controls, with 4th level troubleshooting and ongoing improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years directly related industry experience.
• Certifications: CCDP, CCNA, or DevNet Associate are preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and ongoing support of networking infrastructure across data centers.
• Act as advanced subject-matter expert for data center networking environments.
• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VLAN, SDN, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Ensure information security across data center network infrastructure.
• Provide 4th level support and liaise with vendors for issue resolution.
