Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, deploy, test, and certify complex data-center networking across multiple sites. A current Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for an interview.

The role emphasizes SDN, NSO, ACI, DNAC and related tooling, with hands-on work on switches, firewalls, load balancers, and private cloud services. On-site in Huntsville, AL or other listed locations; CCNA/CCDP/DevNet certifications

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance at time of submission.
Cisco CCDP/CCNA or DevNet Associate certifications.
Bachelor's degree with at least six years of experience.
Experience with ACI, Tetration, MSO, NAE, NSO, Nexus Insights and DNAC.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, test and support data center networking across sites.
Lead as the expert for data center network environments.
Configure and maintain network infrastructure for bare-metal and virtual servers with LAN/WAN/VLAN/SDN/firewall/load balancer.
Provision networking for servers and applications.
Ensure information security across the data center network.
Monitor, diagnose and recover from network issues; implement proactive improvements.
Install, configure and maintain system management tools for network components.
Write scripts to automate provisioning of addresses and VLANs via IaaS.
Provide 4th level support.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation including inventory, patch levels, hostnames, IPs, and accounts monthly.
