Job summary

OBXtek is seeking a Senior IT Systems/Network Engineer to support the Army’s UNM program. Responsibilities include reviewing network designs, overseeing LAN/MAN/WAN projects, and leading integration and testing of large-scale networks.

The role requires 10 years in network engineering and 5 years in virtualization/cloud, with a Bachelor's degree and recognized Cisco/Juniper certifications. Travel and in-office work at Fort Belvoir, VA are expected.

Qualifications

• 10 years hands-on experience with network engineering and IT systems design.
• 5 years experience with virtualization and cloud environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; CCNA, JNCIA, CCNP, or JCNP certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical reviews of design and implementation plans for network infrastructure modernization.
• Oversee LAN/MAN/WAN survey, design, and implementation.
• Lead efforts with developers and partners to rapidly develop prototype software/hardware solutions.
• Collaborate with agencies to determine optimal cloud solutions.
