Job summary

Vistance Networks, Inc. is seeking a passionate Staff Software Engineer based in Sunnyvale, California. This role entails supporting and developing Wi-Fi products, interacting closely with the support team for troubleshooting, and independently identifying customer network issues. Required qualifications include 3-10 years in software engineering, proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Java, as well as deep expertise in IP networking. The expected total compensation ranges from $100,600 to $128,600, coupled with a comprehensive benefits package including medical and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years in software engineering with a strong track record of code development on network devices.
• Deep expertise in IP networking, routing protocols.
• Strong Wi‑Fi background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and development of Ruckus product, including Wi‑Fi Access Point, Controller, and analytic tools.
• Interact with support team to live debug and troubleshoot customer field issues.
• Independently reproduce customer network issues and isolate the root cause.
