Job summary

You will work hands-on with TypeScript, GraphQL, Python, and Terraform, mentoring engineers and partnering with senior leaders to align network strategy with global objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network-centric software engineering.
• Advanced proficiency with TypeScript, GraphQL, API development, and CI/CD.
• Strong background in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in network security, DevOps, and containerization.
• Deep knowledge of DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and enterprise routing.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection, and modern security models.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead large-scale network automation and software engineering projects.
• Develop modern APIs using TypeScript, GraphQL, and contemporary frameworks.
• Define coding standards, development methodologies, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers across levels and align network architecture with business goals.
• Identify and adopt emerging technologies to modernize World Kinect’s network stack.
• Design and maintain IaC using Terraform and Ansible; develop automation scripts in Python and Bash.
