Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect to lead discovery and design of enterprise networking and security solutions from Portsmouth, NH—remote. You will guide cross-functional teams, translate customer goals into actionable designs, and drive proposals and SOWs with executive-facing communication.

The role requires deep experience across Cisco, Juniper, HP Aruba, and Fortinet, with strong business and technical storytelling, risk assessment, and delivery alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Expert-level network certification strongly preferred — Cisco CCNP/CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or Security, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, HPE Aruba ACSP/ACMX, or Fortinet NSE 6–8 / FCSS
• Additional relevant certifications a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCP, TOGAF)
• ITIL or other service management framework certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside sales teams to understand customer business goals and buying drivers.
• Lead client discovery sessions across campus, data center, WAN, wireless, and security domains.
• Develop secure, scalable network and cross-practice solution architectures.
• Present solution architectures balancing technical depth with business value.
• Lead development of solution narratives, estimates, and scope framing for pursuits.
• Prepare and deliver technical pitches, proposals, and SOWs.
• Support RFP responses by designing solutions and answering technical questions.
