Job summary

CACI seeks a Senior Firewall Engineer to join the NSS team. You will design and implement enterprise-wide secure network architectures, conduct risk assessments, and manage WAN/LAN/remote security. You will oversee security infrastructure maintenance and lead incident investigations while developing SOPs for security tools.

Required are TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years in network security, and DoD IAT Level II certification. You will collaborate with management and DAA on security policies and status.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of network security experience in large-scale environments.
• Current DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certifications.
• Post-hire: CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 120 days.
• Experience with firewalls, routers/switches, IDS, and common security tools.
• Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows AD, and VMware.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, test, and implement secure network architectures.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide design recommendations.
• Manage WAN/LAN/CAN and remote network security; incident management.
• Oversee security infrastructure sustainment and advanced configuration.
• Lead incident investigation, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Develop SOPs for security tools and procedures.
• Evaluate new security technologies to enhance networks.
• Liaise with contract customer management and government DAA.
