Job summary

ConglomerateIT is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer for a 13‑month contract in Frisco, TX, with hybrid work and onsite 2–3 days per week at the Addison (Dallas) office. Dallas-area candidates preferred.

You will secure and tune a complex WAN environment, including SD-WAN, QoS, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco ISE, while contributing hands‑on configuration and advisory work and helping build the project team's capabilities.

Qualifications

• Deep WAN, SD-WAN and QoS expertise.
• Palo Alto: Panorama, GlobalProtect, and Distributed User-ID.
• Cisco ISE: 802.1X, TACACS+, IoT, and Guest access.

Responsibilities

• Offer strategic direction while doing technical configuration and build work when needed.
• Recommend proven, industry-aligned solutions and unconventional alternatives when needed.
• Support data conversion efforts and ongoing data maintenance.
• Map out and document process flows.
• Lead or contribute on all deliverables within areas of ownership and coach others.
