Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Sr Network Security Engineer to design, deploy and manage secure networking across on-premises and cloud environments. You will lead security infrastructure such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN/ACL controls, ensuring high availability and compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in network security, strong multi-cloud expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI), and hands-on experience with Fortinet Fortigate, FortiManager, Arista devices, and Splunk/Grafana for monitoring.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of dedicated network security experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience securing multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI) and on-prem networks.
• Hands-on with hyperscale, high-availability networks and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design & Integrate: collaborate with the network architecture team to review and comment on network designs.
• Manage & Optimize Infrastructure: deploy, manage, and troubleshoot firewall, load balancing, and IDS/IPS solutions across on-prem and cloud.
• Enhance Visibility & Intelligence: use telemetry and analytics to improve observability and proactive threat detection.
• Governance & Compliance: define security guidelines for on-prem and cloud deployments with defense-in-depth standards.
• Threat Mitigation: orchestrate vulnerability management including patching and bug scrubs.
• IAM Strategy: design IAM policies and controls for services owned by the global networking team.
• Operational Excellence: participate in security reviews and ACL approvals for safe network operations.
• Incident Response & Triage: lead incident response, root-cause analysis, remediation plans.
• Operational Enablement: provide tools, docs, and information for rapid first-response to incidents.
