General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to support the CBP Cyber Security Directorate and lead enterprise network security engineering. You will design, deploy, and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and NAC, while guiding incident response and policy development.

Candidates should bring 7+ years of hands‑on security engineering experience and strong knowledge of NIST/CIS standards.

Competenze

• Minimum of seven (7) years of hands‑on network or security engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise‑grade firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and NAC tools.
• Detailed understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security best practices.
• Expertise maintaining network security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and NAC.

• Lead the design, engineering, and lifecycle management of enterprise network security infrastructure.
• Provide expert analysis of network security architectures and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and interpret complex network security events and guide investigations.
