Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking an IT and Network Security Engineer to design and implement enterprise-wide network solutions with a strong emphasis on security and compliance. The role supports corporate environments across multiple sites and cloud integrations.

You will lead security projects, mentor teammates, and provide Tier 2 network operation support while collaborating with stakeholders and maintaining clear documentation.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• 5+ years in a network engineer role leading the design of large, complex networks.
• Experience with LAN, MAN, WAN, internet, VPN, WiFi, data center network environments.
• Practical knowledge of routing protocols.
• Experience mentoring junior teammates.
• Strong data center networking knowledge in internal and cloud environments.
• Experience deploying and managing load balancers and remote access VPNs and Next Gen Firewalls.
• Experience with Network Access Control solutions.
• Layer 3 segmentation and advanced routing skills.
• Aruba Wireless Environment, Fortigate Firewall, Extreme Networks and Cisco switching experience.
• Familiarity with cloud security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-wide network solutions with a focus on security.
• Lead network and security projects from planning to implementation.
• Provide enhancements to networks through routing and data flows.
• Perform technical analysis and planning for deployment of evolving solutions.
• Interface with stakeholders to gather project requirements.
• Produce documentation on budgets, plans, drawings, and handoffs.
• Mentor junior team members through configuration and implementation activities.
• Serve as Tier 2 Support for network operations in the corporate environment.
