Job summary

Itezz Inc. seeks an NSSA Operations Lead to manage Network Security Boundary infrastructure, ensuring high-availability across federal networks. You will guide Tier 1–2 support, troubleshoot complex boundary devices, and coordinate with agency management on issue resolution.

Requirements include TS/SCI with polygraph, 15 years NSSA experience, and DoD 8570 IAT III. Certifications such as NGFE, SNSA/SNSP, and CCNA/CCNP/CCIE are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph.
• Fifteen (15) years experience as a NSSA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; five (5) years NSSA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• DoD approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level III.
• At least three of the following vendor certifications: Palo Alto NGFE; SonicWall SNSA/SNSP; Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of Information Technology Network Security Boundaries.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Configure and manage network devices, firewalls, VPNs, web proxies, and load balancers; install and load operating system software.
• Analytical feedback to management for escalated tickets; support hardware and system design.
