Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Principal Network Security Administrator to lead the Zero Trust platform, DNS security/IPAM, and SVRA initiatives.

You will set strategy, standards, and architecture for secure global connectivity, partnering across network, security, and endpoint teams. This role requires 7+ years in enterprise network security, strong DNS/IPAM expertise, and experience with CASB/DLP controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise network security engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of IPAM and DNS/DHCP and DNS Security administration.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust in production enterprise environments.
• Experience managing Secure Vendor Remote Access with controls and auditability.
• Foundational knowledge of CASB, Generative AI Control, and DLP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall security architecture and roadmap for Zero Trust, DNS Security/IPAM, and SVRA.
• Own DNS security and IPAM platforms, setting reliability and security standards.
• Architect and expand Zero Trust access with cross-functional partners.
• Govern secure third-party access and enforce least-privilege controls.
• Mature CASB, Generative AI Control, and DLP rollout with policy expansion.
• Produce gap analyses and architecture recommendations for enterprise risk.
• Translate risk into engineering outcomes with policy and security automation.
• Create runbooks, reference architectures, and design patterns for secure operations.
• Serve as the highest escalation point for complex network security issues.
