Job summary

Tampa Electric is seeking a Network & Systems Security Analyst Lead to design, implement, and support secure network and server infrastructure. You will manage security controls (firewalls, WAFs, proxies) across HA, large-scale environments and ensure regulatory compliance (NERC CIP, SOX, PCI).

Ideal candidates have Check Point expertise, Maestro experience, and strong TCP/IP routing, VPN and DNP/SCADA familiarity.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or GED with strong IT foundation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS, Engineering, Math, or MIS.
• Minimum 4+ years in network/security; progression path to Sr level.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, and support network/server/storage infrastructure.
• Ensure security controls (firewalls, WAF, proxies, NAC, ACLs) meet standards.
• Maintain NERC CIP, SOX, PCI compliance and disaster recovery plans.
• Install and manage VPNs, VPN topology, and remote access technologies.
• Operate and troubleshoot core network devices (switches, routers, DNS/DHCP).
