Responsibilities

Our Technology Services department is looking for a seasoned Senior Network Security Administrator to join our Network Security team. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a Network/Network Security Administrator role supporting a complex enterprise WAN/LAN environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Information Security, Network Admin & Telecommunications to evaluate and test new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities.
• Assist in the maintenance, design and implementation of new network solutions as well as improve the efficiency of current network design. This includes Cloud Networking solutions in Azure.
• Hands on experience with next gen firewalls to include Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Meraki.
• Provision, deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and administer all network equipment and network security-related hardware and software.
• Implement, review, and test security measures to protect the networks from cyber-attacks, hacking attacks, intrusion, infiltration, and natural disasters.
• Review, assess, and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
• Work towards compliance, mitigation, and remediation processes and procedures in support of the organization’s needs.
• Ability to develop, implement and support security related enhancements for the organization including those linked to network and application configuration changes.
• Assist in the design, implementation & maintenance and review of corporate firewalls and other security products/services/tools.
• Analyze and resolve security concerns identified in various vulnerability and baseline scans performed on a recurring frequency.
• Work with Information Security to satisfy all IT related audit findings and implement any necessary security control remediations.
• Help conduct forensic analysis on security related events per incident response guidelines.
• Attend ongoing, corporate sponsored training of key job related software/hardware solutions.
• Perform any other tasks or assignments as deemed necessary by the organization.

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.

Ancillary Duties:

Performs any job related tasks as assigned by any member of the Information Security department with oversight from the Director of Information Security.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of enterprise Network/Network Security Administrator experience.
• Proficiency in advanced network and network security technologies including ZTNA solutions, full UTM next gen firewall, Cloud networking (Azure, AWS) network segmentation, network load balancing, WAF.
• Extra consideration will be given to those candidates with experience in CISCO ISE, CISCO ACI, CISCO UCS, Palo Alto firewall, CISCO NEXUS Switching, Nutanix AHV, Nutanix Flow.

Additional Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with IT, security, and business stakeholders.
• Project technical task management
• Network Diagram and documentation skills

Education/Training: A degree in Computer Science or related discipline is strongly desired. Proven field experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
