Job summary

The City of Middletown is accepting resumes for a Network Administrator. The position is responsible for design, implementation, security, and ongoing management of the City’s network infrastructure, including LANs, WLANs, WANs, and cloud connectivity.

This role serves as a primary defender of the City’s digital assets, integrating cybersecurity, proactive threat identification, incident response, and regulatory compliance with CJIS, NIST, and applicable mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years in network administration and/or network security.
• Ohio driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the City’s LANs, WLANs, WANs and cloud connectivity.
• Defend digital assets with cybersecurity principles and proactive threat identification.
• Mentor junior staff and act as escalation point for complex issues.
