Job summary

Zensar is seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer specializing in Low Voltage and Network Room Infrastructure to design, build, and support IT infrastructure across global offices and labs. You will partner with facilities, network, and AV teams to deliver scalable, standards-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership in regional deployments, on-site work in Santa Clara, and collaboration across time zones. A strong background in engineering and project management is required for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
10–12+ years in telecommunications consulting, construction project management, low voltage infrastructure, or related.
Strong understanding of network architectures and infrastructure components.
Ability to work onsite several days per week and perform physical inspections in network rooms.
Ability to work independently with limited direction.
Proven leadership in challenging, dynamic environments.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to support global teams across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and support low voltage infrastructure for office and lab environments.
Lead regional network room engineering and capacity planning.
Develop and refine infrastructure standards and roadmaps; drive automation initiatives.
Coordinate with facilities, network, hardware, and AV teams to ensure successful deployments.
Monitor progress with site walks, document outcomes, and hand over to operations.
Maintain accurate asset and network room documentation; perform audits as needed.
Ensure security, power, and cabling designs meet standards and project goals.
