Job summary

Trumid is seeking an experienced Network/SRE professional to own reliability across the full request delivery path, spanning edge gear, DNS, load balancing, and a service mesh. You will automate networking with config-as-code and GitOps, build client connectivity workflows, and drive observability and hardening across our multi-cloud footprint.

The role requires 7+ years in production networks, deep AWS/GCP networking, and a strong scripting mindset.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years running production networks including routing, switching, BGP, firewalls, circuits.
• Real cloud networking depth in AWS or GCP: VPC design, transit gateways, peering, DNS, hybrid connectivity.
• The automation habit: scripts instead of manual work; configs live in Git and go through review.
• Experience with L4–L7 load balancing (HAProxy, NGINX, or Envoy) and service mesh concepts.
• Clear writing and ability to work with clients’ network teams.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability across the full request delivery path — edge gear, DNS, load balancers, service mesh.
• Drive network automation: config-as-code with Ansible, Terraform, GitOps and IPAM.
• Find single points of failure and retire them; design and run failover drills.
• Engineer client connectivity — circuits, VPNs, cross-connects; build workflows and dashboards for self-service.
• Build network observability with telemetry, logging, and alerting to catch faults early.
• Harden the fleet: firmware currency, centralized AAA, identity provider integration, firewall policy as code.
• Share a sane, interrupt-contained on-call rotation with the team.
