Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Network Platforms Engineer to help optimize traffic flow across our global network. You’ll work with Linux kernel networking, eBPF, and low‑level protocols to improve reliability, performance, and scalability for millions of customers.

You’ll build and extend end‑to‑end systems from kernel to dataplane, collaborate with operations and product teams, and participate in the on‑call rotation to keep services healthy.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux kernel network stack development (especially with eBPF).
• Experience with complex distributed systems and internet protocols.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend end-to-end systems that carry traffic on the egress path from host kernel to dataplane and interconnect.
• Collaborate with engineers across operations and product teams to improve reliability and performance.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and maintain system health.
