Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I, the IT Specialist II serves as the Senior Network Operations Engineer.
• The Senior Network Operations Engineer optimizes and applies architecture solutions for the benefit of the overall organization and heavily participates in advising and/or formulating information technology strategy and policy within the Department.
• Travel to institutions and after hours support of California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) software applications and systems may be required due to operational need.
