Job summary
TD is seeking a Principal Network Operations Engineer in Mount Laurel, NJ to play a critical role in rapid incident resolution and root cause analysis across a large-scale, global network. You will provide hands-on troubleshooting, mentor team members, and collaborate with engineering, architecture, and application teams to prevent recurrence of incidents.
The role requires strong leadership, expert-level network skills, and cloud networking experience.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- 7+ years relevant experience in network operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead triage and resolution of high-severity (P1/P2) network incidents across global environments.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers; provide escalation support to L1/NOC teams.
- Drive permanent fixes by partnering with engineering and architecture teams.
- Leverage automation and advanced tooling to improve detection, monitoring, and response times.
- Participate in on-call rotation and 24/7 operations support.
