Collins Aerospace in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Tier 2 Network Operations Center technician to join our 24x7 team. You will diagnose failures of systems and networks, resolve basic technical queries, and monitor IP networks, data communication systems, and messaging services in a high-availability environment.

You will work onsite in a 24x7 operations center, with weekend/holiday shifts as needed. The role emphasizes incident management, collaboration with senior engineers, and rapid escalation

Qualificações

• Requires AA/AS degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Current or in-progress CCNA or Security+ certification.
• Experience in a customer service-oriented technical support environment.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking and Cisco equipment.
• Familiarity with routing protocols such as HSRP and BGP.
• Experience providing technical support in an aerospace environment.
• Preferred: ability to prioritize incidents and collaborate across teams.
• Preferred: ability to analyze and interpret complex system behavior.

• Participate in network solutions design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance routines, improving processes where applicable.
• Analyze system behavior and provide guidance to customers for resolving technical problems.

This role will contribute to the Tier 2 Connected Aviation Network Operations Center. This position is responsible for the incident management of customers within the CA Operational environment. This position is responsible for diagnosing failures of systems and networks and performing actions to resolve basic technical queries from Collins Aerospace CA customers and Business Units.Join our 24x7x365 Network Operations Center team, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain systems to support high availability and seamless communication for our customers.

This is a 24x7x365 Operations Center which requires working some weekends and holidays.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.


• Current or in-progress certification in CCNA or Security+.


• Experience in a customer service-oriented technical support environment.


• Prior work experience with TCP/IP networking protocols and computer hardware/software interconnection and interface standards.


• Experience troubleshooting Cisco equipment and working knowledge of routing protocols such as HSRP and BGP.


• Experience providing technical support in an aerospace environment.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience prioritizing multiple incidents and collaborating across teams.


• Ability to analyze and interpret complex system behavior.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
