Job summary

NOVA-Dine LLC seeks a Network Engineer - Lead to support the DES DODNet Migration Execution Services program, migrating DoD Fourth Estate agencies into a unified DODNet environment. The role covers routing, switching, firewall modernization, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and network segmentation across DISA/DODNet architectures.

The senior position provides technical direction to technicians and junior engineers, coordinates cutovers, and partners with cybersecurity and RMF teams.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
• Active Secret clearance required (DoD).
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or higher certification.
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience implementing complex network changes at scale.
• Experience with automation tools and IaC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of network migration activities across multiple DAFA environments.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions within the DODNet architecture.
• Coordinate network cutovers, migrations, and implementation activities.
• Provide technical direction to installation technicians and junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, RMF, and operations teams throughout migration execution.
