Job summary

LV8D Solutions, LLC is seeking a Communications Systems Engineer acting as a Network Intrusion Specialist to provide onsite SETA support for a government program in Chantilly, VA. The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and frequent collaboration with SPO, COTRs, and program stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will analyze PCAP data and IDS/IPS alerts, develop briefings, and coordinate with SMEs while traveling domestically up to 25% for program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years experience.
• Master's degree with 7+ years.
• PhD/JD with 4+ years.
• Experience with space communication, network and crypto systems.
• RMF and information security policy experience.
• Experience with government satellite systems.
• Willing to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Support SPO in acquisition planning, execution, monitoring and oversight of comms, network and crypto acquisitions.
• Analyze PCAP data and IDS/IPS alerts; trace network-based attacks and contain live intrusions.
• Develop documents and brief Government and industry as required.
• Coordinate with COTRs and other SMEs to maintain contract documentation.
• Review CDRL deliverables for content accuracy and sufficiency.
• Participate in program reviews and tech interchange meetings.
• Travel may occur once a month.
