Job summary

Byrne Dairy Corporate Office in Lafayette, NY is seeking a Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to manage and secure the company’s multi-site network. The role focuses on hands-on administration, reliability, performance, and documentation.

You will work Monday through Friday on-site in Lafayette, collaborating with IT teams and supporting manufacturing and distribution networks, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in network administration or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise switching, routing, firewalls, wireless, VPNs, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Experience documenting network standards and multi-site configurations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA, Network+.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or OT networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise switching, routing, firewall, wireless, VPN, VLAN, and IP addressing environments.
• Maintain network diagrams, device inventories, DHCP scopes, and firewall rules.
• Analyze and resolve connectivity, latency, and performance issues across locations.
• Implement firewall policies and secure network configurations.
• Support OT networks while maintaining separation from business systems.
• Coordinate WAN upgrades, SD-WAN, ISP support, and circuit changes.
• Assist with cybersecurity alerts and incident response.
• Provide support for VMware and disaster recovery testing.
