Job summary

Veriipro in Las Vegas is seeking a senior network engineer to install, configure, and maintain complex data center and campus networks. You will design and operate routing, switching, VLANs, and security policies across fabric networks and TOR switches.

The role requires hands-on management of BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, firewall/VPN configurations, and rigorous documentation. You will collaborate with project managers and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and security across enterprise data

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in network administration and enterprise network infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies in data center environments.
Practical experience configuring and managing VLANs, fabric networks, private switches, and TOR switches.
Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS routing protocols.
Experience with data center network infrastructure installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience managing network hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and security patching.
Knowledge of firewall management, VPN configuration, network access controls, and cybersecurity practices.
Experience performing physical network hardware installation, testing, and replacement.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including Tier III network support.
Ability to coordinate with project managers, business units, and cross-functional infrastructure teams.
Strong documentation, communication, and incident management skills.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, monitor, and maintain physical and virtual network infrastructure.
Configure VLANs across fabric networks and private switches.
Provision and configure new private switches.
Implement user authentication and RBAC.
Configure dynamic routing protocols for edge and data centers.
Manage TOR switches and fabric infrastructure.
Support migrations, upgrades and expansion projects.
Perform switch upgrades and security patches.
Monitor network performance and uptime.
Diagnose complex connectivity issues and bottlenecks.
Manage firewall configurations and VPN connectivity.
Perform vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity compliance.
Maintain network documentation, including rack elevations and port mappings.
Conduct on-site hardware inspections and tests.
Coordinate with teams to resolve issues.
Provide Tier III technical support for incidents.
