Job summary

Power3 Solutions is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer (Zero Trust & Forward Networks) in Linthicum Heights, MD. This role requires TS/SCI with a Polygraph and a deep background in network design, deployment, and security architecture.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Zero Trust projects, multiple vendor configurations, and hands-on administration of Red Hat Linux. You will implement Forward Networks tooling and contribute to mission-critical enterprise network models.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
• An IAT level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.
• Strong understanding of computer networking architecture (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Protocols, etc.).
• Proficiency with understanding configurations from multiple vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.
• Experience with Zero Trust related activities (hardening systems, customer ZT compliance requirements).
• Previous technical experience with system administration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance in all aspects of network management from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks; analyzes design, specifications, and related documents; implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment; analyzes network characteristics and troubleshoots problems.
• Supports the Know your Network Zero Trust Architecture Capabilities.
• Implements the Forward Networks inventory capture to organize and maintain network inventory, maps, and vulnerabilities, and integrates with the High Side network model.
